Harmony Day 2026

Despite a cloudy sky and a cool breeze, the spirit of our community shone brightly as we came together to celebrate Harmony Day on the 1st of May. From the moment our stalls were set up, there was a sense of excitement and pride in the air.

Our students looked wonderful in their colourful cultural clothing, bringing vibrancy and joy to the day. The celebrations began with a beautiful parade, where students proudly represented their continents, followed by a heartfelt performance of Our God is a Great Big God.

We were delighted to have so many countries represented, including Thailand, Brazil, Indonesia, India, Romania, Ethiopia, Italy, Seychelles, the Philippines and Australia. Each stall offered something special from colourful shells and cultural displays to the rich aroma of fresh coffee, delicious curries and mouth-watering desserts. It was a true celebration of the diversity that makes our school so unique.

Throughout the day, students engaged in a range of activities that highlighted the importance of inclusion, respect and living in harmony. The celebrations concluded with a relaxed family picnic, giving everyone the opportunity to connect and enjoy the moment together.

A heartfelt thank you to all our parents and families for your incredible support – from creating and setting up stalls to sharing food, culture and helping with pack up. Your contributions made the day so special.

Harmony Day is a beautiful reminder of the richness of our community and the many cultures that come together to make our school such a welcoming and vibrant place.
