Last Friday, the River Guardians visited our River Rangers for a session about the dolphins in the Swan River.
They learned about the biology, behaviour, threats, and monitoring methods related to dolphins. Perhaps even more exciting, the students had the opportunity to learn about the individual stories, names, and defining characteristics of the dolphins.
This educational program has prepared our River Rangers to participate in the citizen science project, assisting the River Guardians in identifying and monitoring the city’s dolphins.
