Our Year 3 and 4 students went on an exciting trip to Kalamunda History Village. They had a great time discovering what life was like in Western Australia over 100 years ago.
In the old schoolroom, they used slate boards and sat at vintage wooden desks while learning about the strict classroom rules of the past. The students also enjoyed visiting the post office and trying antique typewriters and telephones. Many especially appreciated exploring the General Store, where they could buy treats and keepsakes, making the experience even more memorable.
It was a fantastic day that allowed the students to step back in time and experience history firsthand!
