Our Year 3 students have been hard at work in Design & Technology, taking on the challenge of building their very own Noah’s Ark using craft materials!
Design, plan, build, test — they did it all! Using what they learned about buoyancy and floating materials, students created arks sturdy enough to hold four toy animals without sinking.
Along the way, they demonstrated fantastic teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, adjusting their designs when things didn’t go as planned and supporting each other to succeed.
After testing their creations, students reflected on what worked well and what they could improve next time, showing remarkable resilience and a growth mindset.
