Yesterday, the Year 2 students stepped back in time during their visit to Cockman House, one of the oldest houses in the Wanneroo area.
The students began the excursion by creating a living timeline of the Cockman family, the sole inhabitants of the house for over 150 years. They also participated in an exhilarating scavenger hunt, uncovering all kinds of delightful artefacts from the past, such as brass beds, chamber pots, and ice chests. Their creativity was sparked as they were encouraged to play traditional games using the available resources from the past.
The students returned to school eager to learn more about history and our local landmarks.
