This year, the official NAIDOC Week dates coincide with the school holidays, so we chose to celebrate a bit earlier.
Students from all year levels participated in engaging incursions and classroom activities designed to deepen their understanding of Indigenous history and culture.
Our ELC students learned Nyoongar words, created NAIDOC-themed artworks, and had the opportunity to view and interact with special Indigenous artifacts up close.
Meanwhile, our Year 3–6 students explored the deep connection Indigenous peoples have to the land, as well as our school’s belief that every person is created in God’s image.
