Interhouse Athletics – Jumps and Throws

Term 4 has certainly begun with a burst of energy and enthusiasm, as we witnessed our young athletes showcasing their talents and embracing our core values at the Interhouse Athletics Jumps & Throws and long-distance races.

Our school grounds buzzed with excitement as our students eagerly participated in the Interhouse Athletics Jumps & Throws. This event showcased the incredible skills and sportsmanship of our budding athletes. The atmosphere was filled with cheers, encouragement, and the spirit of healthy competition. Students from Year 3 and above demonstrated their prowess in Shotput, Turbojav, and Long Jump.

Thursday was dedicated to our long-distance running events, setting the stage for the much-anticipated 400m final, held during Friday’s Athletics Carnival. It was awe-inspiring to witness our students push their limits, displaying remarkable endurance and determination. The track echoed with the sound of footsteps, each one symbolizing the unwavering team spirit of our young athletes.

What truly warmed our hearts during these events was the evident display of our school’s core values: community, courage, excellence, and kindness. Our students not only showcased their athletic abilities but also demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship and respect for one another. It was a testament to the nurturing environment Beechboro Christian School provides, where these values are instilled and celebrated daily.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated staff, parents, and volunteers who supported this event, making it a memorable experience for our students. Your encouragement and involvement truly make a difference in nurturing the talents and character of our students.

Looking ahead, we are excited about the upcoming events and activities planned for the rest of Term 4, such as the WACSSA Field Events and the WACSSA Track Events. Let us continue to support and uplift one another, fostering a sense of belonging and unity within our school community.
